Imagine if you were a small child with no parents around for years. Now you have five wonderful people who cook for you and 26 other children. They also see that you get to school, but with only five of them and thirty of you, you don’t get much special time with a parent or adult. Each child loves to be visited, played with, and someone to share homework time with; in other words, someone who just cares.
Visiting the home is a wonderful gift to the children. Just taking time to send a child a birthday card and maybe a Christmas card is a special gift. It may be their only mail.
